Beef Chuck (43%), Beef Rib Cap (26%), Beef Brisket (23%), Fire Roasted Onions (4%) (Onion, Rapeseed Oil, Brown Sugar, Salt), Roast Beef Oil (Water, Beef Bone, Tomato Paste, Onions, Carrots), Bone Marrow Stock (2%) (Water, Beef Bone, Marrow Bone, Onions, Yeast Extract (Yeast Extract, Salt), Carrots, Tomato Paste, Salt), Burger Seasoning (Sea Salt, Preservative: Sodium Metabisulphite (Sulphites)).

Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: - To panfry / oven cook from chilled.

  • If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking.
  • Before Cooking: Pre heat oven to 180°C Fan / 200°C/ Gas Mark 6.
  • Preheat frying pan to a medium high heat.
  • Remove all packaging.
  • During Cooking: Reduce pan to medium heat.
  • Pan fry burgers in a dry frying pan for 3 minutes on each side.
  • Remove burgers from the pan, place onto an oven tray, loosely cover with foil and cook in the centre of the oven for 18 minutes.
  • After Cooking: Remove from the oven and serve.
  • Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains.
  • All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
  • To panfry / oven cook from chilled: Medium heat 24 minutes

Warnings:
This product is not suitable for rare cooking. Do not undercook burgers. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. Raw meat may contain organisms hazardous to health. Cook thoroughly until piping hot throughout, no pink colour remains and the juices run clear. If not fully cooked in accordance with the instructions harmful bacteria may remain.

Storage
For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 24 hours and do not exceed the use by date.

For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

    Well, add it up.
    92% beef of one sort or another
    4 % onion
    2% bone marrow stock

    That's 98% before you start with flavourings and preservatives. If you don't like those, make your own

    0.8% salt.

    All seems reasonable to me.

    Good to hear, was going to do Smash Burgers tonight, but forgot when I got to the aisle, Sainsbury's only do vac pacced mince now and I can't get on with it as it is just a ball of mush. Hence spotting these, looking forward to trying them. (edited)
