I have this exact drive as a secondary drive. I paid £89.99 in November 2020. It's fine does the job I require of it. Nothing much to say about it really, it works does the job.

Is this the cheapest a 1TB NVME has ever been?

    Quite possibly yeah.

    Just 600TBW

That's good for a budget drive, my Kioxia is on 98% with just 5.5TB, so 300 possibly 400TBW
Just checked website it's 400TBW for 1TB (edited)

Any recommendations for an external enclosure for one of these?

The one you link is a faster Gen 3 drive than this drive. You won't notice the difference in normal usage and gaming between PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 drives.
