About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Okay, firstly it states 'pre-order', however both the black and red models are showing £219.99. 4G, decent spec, the usual concerns about the longevity and flexibility of the OS apply. Found this in the 'sim free' section...

Not for everyone, but it looks like a deal, albeit one for the more discerning Blackberry lover when it's back in stock.
Full spec etc here

sorted byFor starters.. There were never any q1 to q4! Unless you mean there financial results..
Also people have been saying that BlackBerry will be bust for the last 2 years...and they are still here..
I've recently switched from blackberry to android...and I think I'm going to go back again...there really is no substitute for the bb's keyboard!
BB is dead, good luck with warranty.
One does not simply control "more than" 100% of anything in the infinity of the Multiverse.

Posted from my BlackBerry q5
Sure you can buy an Android. My work gave me a Sony Xperia SP, looks nice a nice phone, nice screen, poor battery, daily charge but the killer feature of email for work is so terrible I put it a draw and use my Blackberry Q5 which works faultlessly. The Blackberry OS 10 interface is properly designed, much more like apple, unlike Android which appears to have been cobbled together.
No bis required anymore for any bb10 product.
The Q5 was cheaper, but had a far better value for money price than the Q10 (which was irrelevant if waiting for a price crash), both are 4G.
All BB10 phones (Q5, Q10, Q30, Z10 & Porsche branded) did nor need BB services, & can run Android apps without sideloading.

Comparing the Q10 & Q5
Sizes are virtually identical with under 1MM difference in any dimension, Q10 is 19g heavier at 139g but has a reassuring solid well built feel.
Q5 has slightly larger battery at 2180mAh against 2100, but loses out as its not replaceable.
Everythinging else was in favour of the Q10, but not massively, or even for some users enough to be relevant,
Camera 8meg v 5meg with same front cam
Processor, both dual core but 1,5 v 1,2mHz
Both have 2 gig memory but with 8 & 16 gig storage. Both take 64gig cards.
Same size/res screen at 3.1in & 720 ^ 2 res but Q10 amoled.
So fairly close specs making the Q5 an excellent buy especially with 4G at the price (if not a typo).
However, I still feel the Q5 looks like a big dod of plastic & given how hacked off I'd feel if I bought it & within months the Q10 plummeted too, I think I will continue to wait (which will go past the intro of the SV/5 too, which I quite like how its looking too)

A 3 year old article, irrelevant now!
Actually, I've been saying it for about 3 years. Do keep up
Blackberry is still 'here' in the same sense as Elvis is still 'here'. Its dead, but a lot of people like to pretend it isn't.
'Thank you for your order on 16th Febraury 2014. This is now being processed.

Oh dear, oh dear - please remember this site is called HotUKdeals, not fanboy flamewars!
As for the BlackBerry - it will remain ever present until such times as another manufacturer finds a way to enable enterprise protection and integration into a new device with the level of control the BlackBerry affords, so far nothing comes close (yes even Windows phones!). Good for enterprise doesn't have anywhere near the same level of integration and it's the closest thing on the market at present tot have any competition against BlackBerry...
From a consumer perspective I can see why people think that BlackBerry is dead, from an corporate/enterprise level it's the only tool that's fit for purpose...
no
Fantastic deal imo.
Good specs too gsmarena.com/bla…php
Voted HOT!

I mean the other two colours are 219.99 - with 129.99 being the price, the 1 and 2 being mistyped
Do you think this price will be honoured?
