Why did I think this was Pepsi shampoo at first glance? Anyone else?

    Oh yes.

Shame they put artificial sweetner in it when it's not Pepsi Max. I can't drink the stuff as it gives me horrible cramps. They even put it in the regular cans now.

i dont own this. paint me stupid, but surely go down to aldi/lidl, get a cheap 2l soda water and mix this syrup in.

    Have i missed anything special?

We've had sodastream machines for donkeys years now. I think you can argue their merit on ecological grounds but not really on cost, even if you use one of the subscription plans that are offered for gas refills, it's cheaper nipping down to Aldi and spending 29p on a 2 litre bottle of fizzy drink, or if you want the branded stuff, £1-£1.25 for 1.5L of Pepsi Max/2L of 7UP from Iceland :/ (edited)

The best methods I found for saving money is waiting for syrup deals on here and getting your own gas canister refill. For the first year of owning a Sodastream I was trading refill canisters into the range/currys like everyone else. Now I refill those canisters myself with a 6.35kg C02 canister. Can't remember what my savings was but it's something like £1.50 a refill vs £13 at currys.
