    This SSD is 'The.Fat.Cat' approved.

Looks like someone saw my comment about me being too lazy to post this.

Fantastic drive, easily competes with the Samsung 990 Pro for £24 less.
Picked one up myself a week ago for this price from somewhere else and they've since put the price up.
Pretty sure Amazon were price matching them so I'd advise you to get one while they are still this price, I can see them going back up soon.

This is the best value high end 2TB NVMe right now, at least from the big name brands anyway.

If this doesn't get more heat than the £133 Samsung 990 Pro deal there is something wrong with this place. (edited)

Mine arrived last Saturday, paid £104.98 with the £5 off promotion from Amazon. The SSD arrived in a factory labelled sealed box as seen below. Warranty Expiration said February 2028, obviously will be July with receipt. Solidigm Warranty Checker here: support.solidigm.com/en-…er/50656369-DZPW0.jpg

Same from Box.co.uk. Double sealed and not even a scratch on the case. Glad Amazon sent a good unit as recently they have been sending everything out in paper bags. A previous SN850X came with the SSD ejected out of the retail box due to terrible packaging. (edited)

Looks very chinese. What are the lifespan of these? Theres no individual read or write speeds... I personally will avoid just for peace of mind.

    Huh?
Solidigm is simply the new (well, not even that new anymore) name for Intel/SK hynix SSD's and the P44 Pro is superb.

Instead of presuming they are crap because you've never seen the name before, you should ask (the same thing happens with 'Kioxia' SSD's).
There are plenty of people here that know the details.
OP posted the TomsHardware review in the info of the deal, all you need to know about the drive is there. (edited)

I note that this seems to meet the PS5 requirements, but I don't see an obvious heat sink

Is one required to install this on a PS5?

The P44 Pro doesn't come with a heatsink, but the £5.99 Thermalright one on Amazon does the job just fine (no need to waste £16 on the Sabrent PS5 one).
It's best to have a heatsink even though this is a very efficient drive and doesn't get that hot.

There aren't many reviews for that heatsink but I've installed multiple (in PC's and PS5's) and they are very good.

Got the previous deal from Box, solid drive and well reviewed.

Yeah I saw that, bet they didn't stay in stock long.
    That was a silly price.
