    Question for the tech guys, with this connected to the TV as normal and have a pc connected to the TV via hdmi. Would the soundbar still function as normal playing a movie on the pc? (edited)

    yes - if your movie is encoded with say DD+ and is passing that to the TV via the HDMI cable, then the TV will pass through the audio to the Sonos via eARC and you will get the movie audio feed of DD+ coming out of the speakers.

    I had a world of trouble getting VLC to pass through the audio at the PC end way back in the day, painful memories! (edited)

    Yes, what size is your TV as this sound bar is quite wide and so might look out of place next to a smaller TV (edited)
