    How does this compare to the sigma 30

    The sigma is sharper, but is also quite a bit larger and heavier and lacks image stabilisation. If you have a body with IBIS, I'd pay the extra for the Sigma unless the weight is a concern. If you don't have a body with IBIS, I'd probably lean towards the Sony.

    Underrated and often overlooked lens for Sony APS-C, very compact and light, fast, sharp and, uniquely for a 35mm lens, has image stabilisation built in making it great for non stabilised bodies like the A6400 etc. Have mine on an old A5100, for a genuinely compact and coat pocket-able street cam
