Take vision and sound to the next level with Cognitive Processor XR™. The revolutionary processor on Sony BRAVIA XR™ TVs reproduces content the way humans see and hear for an incredibly lifelike experience. It understands how the human eye focuses, cross analysing images to give real life depth, extraordinary contrast and beautifully vivid colours.

Pairing the A80K OLED panel with XR OLED Contrast Pro, this TV boosts colour and contrast in bright areas so you can enjoy unprecedented pure blacks and peak brightness. Combined with Cognitive Processor XR™, it enhances pictures in the same way as your eyes focus so you won't miss a single detail in dazzling light or deep shadow.

XR Triluminos Pro enables A80K to access over a billion colours and reproduce each one with the subtle differences seen in the real world. Together with our wide colour gamut panel and human-centric processor, it can detect colour from saturation, hue and brightness to deliver natural shades in every detail.

XR OLED Motion combats blur by detecting and cross analysing key visual elements on successive frames. It creates and inserts extra frames between the original ones so you can enjoy smooth and clear action, even in fast-moving sequences.

With XR 4K Upscaling, you'll enjoy entertainment close to 4K quality, whatever the content or source. Our Cognitive Processor XR™ accesses a vast amount of data, intelligently recreating lost textures and detail for real world pictures.

Acoustic Surface Audio?™ uses special actuators to turn the screen into a multi-channel speaker. You'll hear sound that precisely matches what’s on screen with pictures and sound in total harmony for a truly immersive experience.

Browse 700,000+ movies and TV episodes from across your streaming services, all in one place and organised into topics and genres based on what interests you.

Watch your favourite movies and shows without hunting down the remote. Now you can just use your voice to control your Sony TV through a Google Assistant-enabled device. Just say “Ok Google” to get started.

Quickly and easily enjoy your favourite videos, photos, games and more from your iOS or Android devices on the big screen.

I've heard they're good, but Richer Sounds will price match if you prefer

Code New25 gives an extra £25 off. I've bitten the bullet and ordered. Watching the prices of these TV's rise with inflation pushing higher and higher. No point waiting anymore

    Then I'll bite. Hard

What is a good price for G2? I have someone who works at John Lewis so they csn get it down by 12.5% but I still feel it need a further reduction in price ?

Would you trust a company that just give a button ‘ I accept’ to cookies policy with no apparent option to disagree or change it?
Martin Dawes is one of those.

I've had two of these, both have HDMI input issues.

I’ve recently bought one of these, can I ask what issues you’ve had on the HDMI for future reference?

I picked this up for slightly cheaper a week ago from a site that must not be named! Highly recommend at this price, hands down best TV I’ve ever owned.

Wondering whether you managed to get the 5y warranty?

I wonder if Richer Sounds will still price match as Martin Dawes website is showing "PRE ORDER 7-10 DAYS". Essentially RS could claim that it's not in stock.
    peterbrookes's avatar
I tried to price match with Richer Sounds but they told me they're not expecting stock for a couple of weeks.

Sony really need to bring their OLED panels in line with LG when it comes to their preventative burn-in maintenance according to the recent RTINGS findings. Simple firmware update should do it. Their QD OLED though.....yeeeeah.
