Link goes to ; 2 adults must travel together at all times, throughout the entire journey in both directions.
hmm, looked a lot like this......they must both use the same awful trains oO
I used this?http://www.businesstraveller.com/news/new-trains-and-e-tickets-for-stansted-express
Why use a picure of a southeastern train for north london/essex?
Never seen £7.50 before? Also this is a good reminder to those who haven't seen it and a big saving.
Sometimes cheaper to get a ticket to Bishops Stortford, or Harlow Town and then 2nd one on to Stansted Same trains just not the premium "airport express brand"
It's still available. Heat added.
Working for me. Make sure you book for 30+ days in advance, then scroll down past the usual prices for "Low-cost 30 day Advance Fare".
This is a good price. We took Terravision to Stansted, nearly missed our flight despite leaving several hours because of horrendous traffic. Was probably about £8 cheaper than this for 2 people, but worth it for extra peace of mind and less hassle I reckon.
It shows £23 one way, Any ideas??
Good to see people are still using the tip! As of today 10/03/2013, the cheapest fare seems to be £10.50 from Swindon. I'm not sure if it would work from Tottenham Hale - The ticket terms state that you cannot break the journey at any intermediate station, however I imagine you could get away with it, especially if there was engineering work going on.
Hi, Was just looking at all the v. helpful comments and tips... I would like to travel from Stansted Airport to Tottenham Hale (one-way only) using the Stansted Express train service in april 2012.. I'd appreciate everyone's help with the following 2 questions: Question No. 1: I see that it is cheaper to book a one-way ticket through Ryanair's website from Stansted Airport to Liverpool street at 18 GBP, than buying the single fare to Tottenhal hale (19GBP). The question is: Can i buy the reduced fare to Liverpool Street and get off at Tottenham Hale instead (i.e. before Liverpool street)? My question is related to the existence or absence of ticket control at Tottenham Hale station, i.e. on top of the obvious ticket control within the Stansted express train is there ADDITIONAL ticket-control at tottenham Lahe station? For example, is there an electronic-scanning-machine after exiting the train at Tottenham Hale which would "read" that my ticket is valid to Liverpool Street and hence not allow me to pass through the exit-doors at Tottenham Hale station? Question No. 2: Following Robin's (wobinb) very useful tip, i went to www.fgw.co.uk and saw that it is possible to book a single ticket from Stansted Airport all the way to Swindon (via Liverpool street and Paddingtom) for only 10,50 GBP. The question is: Can i buy this ticket and get off/end my journey at Tottenham Hale? (instead of getting off at Liverpool street)? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Stav
Code still working, but prices have gone up! Standard return now being quoted at £28 through the booking link above, special offer at £24... Tip: You can take the Terravision bus from Liverpool Street station for £14 return. Only takes 55 minutes, so about the same time. Not as comfy, but almost half the price.
Can anyone confirm this works? I need to book a ticket to Stansted & this seems the cheapest way at £10.50 from Swindon to Stansted.
don't you have to add a flight confirmation code to book it through ryanair?
