The writing in 3 is just as bad as in 1 and 2, the difference is that in 3 you are smashed over the head with a nostalgia overload.

I did like all the series of Picard but this tickled my fan service receptors like nothing else. Set phasers to fun!

The worst Star Trek series by far. Made for non-Trek fans by non-Trek fans.
No other Star Trek series comes within a million light years of how bad Picard is.
The only - and I do mean only - good thing about it was that some of the original TNG cast got a pay day.

Season 3 is what the first two seasons should have been, yes it had a lot of nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake but did fans really expect any less? Terry Matalas should have been at the helm for all three seasons.

Can’t bring myself to buy this on Blu-Ray though, with all those dark scenes what a waste to not put out a 4K/HDR release as it deserves. If that never materialises I’ll pick this up cheap in a decade.

Good Deal 🔥 I have Picard on Blu Ray all good.Not sure what the downer is on Picard/Discovery unless people just wanting more of the same Trek,it has to evolve.Discovery is brilliant

What Star Trek people want is more Star Trek and Science Fiction.
The car chases and ninjas in Picard are neither, and certainly not evolution.
