Remember back in the day when you could pass the power from a PSU with one of these and power a hulking great CRT monitor and everything powered off together.

    I feel old.

The number of these that I used to "borrow" from the server room.

Windows NT CD and Licence packs were borrow items of choice, they came with all new PCs and as corporates were all on volume licencing they never got used. I know someone who was walking through security when the handle on his silver aluminium tool box let go due to having 50 packs stuffed into his tool box. Was a couple of guys who did the computer fair circuit who paid £10 a pack for them.

This probably has its use but why not just get a longer Kettle lead?

Not quite sure why they feel the need to quote the power rating at 125V (10A) when it's being sold in the UK where the prevailing voltage is 250V.

In the UK this the equivalent rating would be 5A at 250V (approx 1250W max) (edited)

This is a crazy price for what is a standard item in a comms room!

I recently bought a load of them for my new home server rack, at £1.63 each.
