sorted byIt's simple. It has a particular job to do - converting line-in signals to something you can record, and it does this well, with the options you might need to get a good result.
Want to record vocals via a mic? This'll likely do the job.
Want to record a guitar or other electric instrument? This'll likely do the job.
It's good stuff if you don't need or aren;t looking for extra bells and whistles.
If I won the lottery and was asked how I am, I'd probably say "Not too bad"
This would have been useful shared also in the Microphones catagory of hotdeals.
Whenever someone posts a mic in that catagory that isn't USB, people always ask what other equipment they need to make it work with their computer. I think this leads to less (non-USB) microphone deals being posted overall.
