Voted hot as think these are a good deal; though my Tado radiator valves have started playing up now and half of them won’t turn off any more so need replacement (Pin is fine, with other trv working - Tado just keep recalibrating and it making no difference) so I can’t particularly recommend them right now.
Unfortunately, this deal has expired 4 June 2023.

sorted by- So you mean Tado is not that good? Or just the basic one is no good?
- Anyone know if these basic ones measure room humidity? Can’t seem to see it specifically?Yeah they do
- I have had the full fat version of these for the last 5yrs and they have been superb.
Battery change is around 1yr.
No experience of these basic ones thoughsame. - Is this ok to use on a separate rad in the same room then link them both together within the app? Thus getting the temp/humidity and air comfort features from the other full version trv?you need a hub but yeah
- Thought this was an aftershave from the pic...
- I’ve got 6 of them since 2016. Still going strong.
I had problems with a couple where they were not able to generate enough force to shutoff / open the the radiator valve. Tado shipped replacement from Germany after a year and a bit of use.
One change I have seen is that back then customer service was much better. You could directly phone them and ask for help; and get your query resolved in few minutes. now it’s all ticket/ email based though.
