The app is excellent I think and for £20 is a great price.

IMPORTANTLY - you can turn the IR off so it can be placed behind glass at night in low light conditions

I have 2 x c200 and 1 x C225 and I would recomend going for the newer model, as the tracking is far better. It's quite scary how good the C225 is, as it follows you/a-object around. It much faster and has a better picture.

The great thing about these cameras is it's coming unlocked, there is no need to hack it to get the ONVIF stream. As so it's easy to build cheap (but good quality) CCTV system using cheap NAS like Qnap or Synology

Having bought the double C225 kit a few days ago, the instructions make a minor reference to a "C225 (HomeKit)" model so now I'm wondering whether TP-Link have some new models about to come out.

I have two existing Kasa cams and a bulb, can this be controlled by the Kasa App? Or is there a unified Tapo App now? (edited)

When you install the Tapo app it will offer to upgrade to the new beta version that does both products. I've been using it for about 2 months without any problems.
