sorted byGreat machine but youcan never get a filter for it,therefore it's a waste of money.
I too was thinking this would be redundant without the ability to get replacement filters but with the ES sheets this is a non factor. Cost of a filter on some machines are equivalent to this entire machine also… doesn’t justify it going to a landfill but just saying…
I am not so cocksure , so ran the question through chat GPT :-
Q= "if a 22 Watt motor runs for 24 hours, how much will it cost to run if the cost is 26 pence per KWh?"
A = To calculate the cost of running the motor for 24 hours, first, we need to find out how much energy it consumes in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
Power (in kW) = 22 Watts / 1000 = 0.022 kW
Energy consumed (in kWh) = Power (in kW) × Time (in hours) = 0.022 kW × 24 hours = 0.528 kWh
Now, to find the cost, multiply the energy consumed (in kWh) by the cost per kWh:
Cost = Energy consumed (in kWh) × Cost per kWh= 0.528 kWh × £0.26/kWh≈ £0.13728
So, it will cost approximately £0.13728 to run the 22W motor for 24 hours at a cost of 26 pence per kWh.

The sheets came with a narrow sticky tape down one end. Peeled this off and cut into 5 x 2 inch strips to secure the sheet around the filter cartridge. just rolled the cartridge around the sheet, taped tight, and cut off the hanging extra few inches with scissors. Years (hopefully) of cleaner air for 35 quid and a few pence per day running costs
