    I've had 2 of the Teclast M40 tablets. Both suffered with physical port failures (charge port and headphone jack) neither supports HD netflix, it's impossible to get a decent fitted case for them and I rarely get software updates. I wouldn't buy another. (edited)

    I'm going for 2 X9's for the kids and putting away for Xmas. I'm not sure even a black Friday deal can beat the current 125quid deal available when buying 2!

    It's smaller battery. Old teclast had 8000mah and this one is 6000mah...

    Decent spec tablet & good reviews, I would not be sure about OS upgrades though other than security upgrades.....you may see Android 12 as the only OS on this device

    MT8183 (or Kompanio 500, formely Helio P60T) is a mid-range MediaTek SoC for Chromebooks released in 2019. MT6771 (Helio P60/P70) is a very similar SoC that is designed for smartphones, such that one can include the MT8183 dtsi when constructing a MT6771 device dts.

    It's not a particularly fast chip. Slower than the unisoc tiger 6xx. See this list of mobile processors by performance nanoreview.net/en/…ing

    From looking at tablets recently. I'd suggest nothing less than a Mediatek Helio g99 or something like a snapdragon 7xx / 8xx.

    I have the pro, got it last year. I barely use it, takes an age to charge. Not as fast as I thought it would be. I wouldn't buy one again. Appears to be a tablet that is used built into car dashboards.
