sorted byIt lasted a few years, I didn't look after it and it rusted.
I am replacing it now as the bottom is rotten, my bad, the whole winter filled with hashes kept moisture and ruined it.
If you are not too fussy about, look after it and it will do what you need.
Improvements suggested, add a thermometer and a steel mesh to put charcoal on top, as the grid provided leaves a gap between the barrel and the grid, and a lot of charcoal was falling at the bottom through this gap.
