I loved this show. Sure, it's an emotional rollercoaster, a difficult watch at times, but so rewarding. There was such an innocence to the Flumps that i found myself embracing not only the Flumps world but also the Flumps worldview. It was a good place to be... simple, warm, comforting, and untouched by the complexities of the modern world. However, I often found the family Flump's disappointments too unsettling within the context the show had created. Challenges seemed amplified, and I found myself pulled apart emotionally by circumstances i wouldn't usually think twice about. It's a brilliant show. Disquieting and thought-provoking in a way atypical of the genre. Subtle, sublime, haunting. Put your woolly hat on and throw yourself in. The tears will be worth it.
