The StarField Gaming Machine, (according to AMD)..

Price: £849.99 uk.pcpartpicker.com/lis…4Cd

Time the cashback kicks back into your wallet, this machine is then built free of charge against the norms, i did enter some PCPP prices, as the MB320 is a joke on PCPP, so i knocked that down, and entered a relistical market price for the M/board.

**If you fancy taking the PSU higher, call them after(because of ordering via TCP). CV550 is £10 less of an item then the CV650 that is found in their 4060, and the 4060 deal has a new foundation booster of RM750E Corsair Gold at £30. so Calc the two dots is very easy in this regards.

Great system for starfield gaming on a budget, the other systems that kick in at £850 that i have posted do have an increase in graphics, but less in other ways

I.E 12400F + 4060 when boosted to the 13400F, well the 13400F isnt as good as the 7600(intel fan boi axes at me, not in all cases but general..) but we got a slightly lower GPU, so the ofset is there, but u got the game.

Palicomp 7600 + 3070, has an even better GPU that starts at £850 but to reflect that GPU, it doesnt have the 32GB it has 16GB but higher psu to start too - and also no game.

AWD slightly higher with respect of their 4060Ti, via its 7500F that is a shy dog of 7600 has 4060ti, which sly under a 3070 but will get better in time but has 32GB of 4800mhz but with no game, for more main stream DDR5 speed u need to top that to 5200 and higher for ddr advantages so that starts adding up surpast £900.

all these deals ive posted, come into market at 1) excellent value, and its about picking between each deal which hits the sweet spot for u.

and this one out the others the sweet spot is the price inclusive of that 7600 so u on the ryzen playing field, its got a sweet game inclusive.

if u feel ur a typical prebult buyer wanting that game in a £850 spend its great, buy a system and never do any changes for some time its great, if ur the type that thinking 7600 will do now but i want to boost within a year or so, it can be done, give em a call after tcb is my advice.

Is PC's not coming with Windows a new thing these days? Any tips for getting it a bit cheaper than £90?

How does this compare to the £1050 pc posted yesterday?
    Tantrix1's avatar
Get the £1050 if you are thinking about getting one.. 4070 is 65% more powerful for gaming than this. Futureproof it

Is nobody else finding it ironic that this is called 'The Starfield' and the GPU is below that recommended by Bethesda?
Bethesda recommend a 6800 XT on the AMD side, which the 7600 is not particularly close to.

Depends on which Resolution and setting u desire as per any game. but its a good marketing trick by Bethesda, not using new generation of graphics. because the internet knows the 6800 isnt far behind the XT, that isnt that far over the 6750XT then 6700 and downwards to 6650XT, which obvious then ties in 7600 new generation cross over, but for the upper spec folks, who desire a 6800XT level will be seeking new 7000 series highs, ones that are out and coming out.

just because a publisher does a recomendation doesnt mean it covers everyones needs/aspect n budgets, and nor do they need too if they are flexable on the settings / reso.

seeing as Bethesda is partnered AMD, which the 7600 is an AMD card and AMD doing it free, so if Bethesda felt that anything below 6800xt was a complete wipe off, then it wouldnt of been a signed deal.

what we got here is a £850 system, with £42.50 cashback, free game worth £45 from keys, n a £15 mouse, so all in all if all that is good for u, then ur getting the desktop for £750.00 and that is outstanding for an entry 32GB 7600 system, if the game and co are not needed, then other deals at £850 have more bang, but if them aspect are needed then u need to add them onto the other £850 so we are talking a £900+ system.

for the £750 desktop, other then dropping back to AM4, is the only other way, which u can Squeeze in a higher GPU, but it is getting tighter on ddr5 systems on its toe. (edited)

Looks pretty good value for the money, especially if you factor in that Starfield will technically be a £59.99 RRP game

Yo hope you don't mind me dropping you a comment that's not about this deal, but have you seen anything like this one in your travels, but with a beefier GPU? Thinking red not green for the vram, I'd be upgrading from a 5700xt. In the £2,000 range? Any thoughts appreciated mate.

Ive had a fair few request again over high ends, so ill certainly give them relook into, ive not seen any "direct" amazing ones that stuck out like a sore thumb, but half the times the best ones are hidden gems inside others. (its like they dont wish to sell)

Palicomp got this one; something i put together for a chap that wanted a high end 4070Ti with the full whistles.

    AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
    ARCTIC 240MM ARGB Cooler
    ASUS X670E PLUS TUF Motherboard
    CORSAIR RGB 32 GB DDR5 6200Mhz
    ADATA S70 2TB GEN4 M.2 NVMe
    NVIDIA RTX 4070TI 12GB
    LANCOOL 215 +
    BEQUIET 850W Gold ATX3.0 PSU

    1953.20 palicomp.co.uk/amd…g!)
    uk.pcpartpicker.com/lis…zKB

He desires the 7800X3D Via X670E Board, 240MM Cooler, 2TB Excellent nvme, in a lancool.

    (379.99 for the 4080)

if u desire the full bang like that, thats an excellent system, but if u tell me what u dont like about it let me know.

When you're facing a tough challenge, you need to upgrade your equipment.

That's where the DDR5-powered StarField Gaming Machine from AMD comes in:

    • AMD Ryzen 7600 (6 cores, 12 threads)
    • AMD 7600 8GB Graphics
    • Corsair 32GB RAM (5200MHz, 2x16GB)
    • Cooler Master MB320 Case
    • Adata A620M-A Motherboard
    • Corsair CV550W PSU (or upgrade to RME750W for £40 more)
    • WD SN570 1TB NVME SSD
    • You'll get £42.50 cashback
    • ASUS TUF Gaming M3 Mouse
    • Starfield - AMD Bundle
    Price: £849.99 Link

After getting your cashback, this machine essentially costs you nothing extra to build, which is unusual. I made some adjustments to the prices listed on PCPartPicker because the MB320 price there isn't accurate.

If you want a more powerful PSU, you can upgrade to the CV650 for £10 more. In a similar deal with the 4060, you get an RM750E Corsair Gold PSU for £30 extra. So, it's easy to calculate which PSU option suits you better.

This is a fantastic system for playing Starfield on a budget. Other systems in the £850 range may have better graphics but sacrifice in other areas. For instance:

    • The 12400F + 4060 deal, when upgraded to the 13400F, might not match the 7600's performance. It also has a slightly lower GPU but includes the game.
    • The Palicomp 7600 + 3070 offers a superior GPU but starts with 16GB of RAM, a higher PSU, and no game.
    • AWD's slightly more expensive system with the 4060Ti and 7500F has 32GB of 4800MHz RAM but no game. To benefit from DDR5 advantages, you'll need to upgrade to 5200MHz RAM or higher, pushing the cost past £900.
All these deals offer excellent value, and it's about choosing the one that suits your needs best. In this case, the sweet spot is the price, including the 7600 CPU and the game. If you plan to upgrade within a year, you can also make changes; just give them a call after getting your cashback.

The GPU at 8GB VRAM is abysmal in 2023, expect limitations on: modding/hd packs and running any decent game at a vanilla res.
    iceburglettuce's avatar
Shame your beloved Nvidia ripped people off with 8Gb all through the last gen and tried to do so this gen too.

wow this is very good value imo. nice 32 gigs of ram, modern chip on a forward facing platform. hot one.
  12. Mr.Nutts's avatar
Oh man, if I could get this without the NVMe and GPU I'd probably be all over it. I keep playing around on palicomp and pcspecialist but can't get one that I like in a budget I'm happy with (and in a nice case)
