sorted byIt's the same artwork as the Blu-ray steelbook yup I own the Blu-ray steelbook .. twice 🤦🏻♂️
I may actually put the 4K in one of my steelbook cases because this release is in a plastic Amaray case 😔 (edited)
I compared the revenant 4k to bluray the other night directly. It was significantly better. Wider colour spectrum, more colour depth, more contrast, superior resolution and detail.
Probably cheapest thing is keepingyour bluray limited edition and getting the 4k standard edition when it's on offer. (edited)
Firstly. At the distance I am to my television (10ft for a 55" TV), I can barely tell the difference between 1080p and 4k, the difference 2k and 4k at that distance is going to be barely imperceptible to my eyes.
Secondly, I have not found a film, where I think HDR, has improved the quality of image in a cinema released film. Examples, being 2001: A Space Odyssey and Akira, which look shockingly bad to my trained eye.
