The first stock of this Timex store exclusive sold out instantly when it first went on sale earlier this year. It's got a lot of watch fans very excited and some have been trading for much more than RRP on eBay. They're back in stock on the UK Timex store and you can use any email to sign up for the 15% off first order code. Brings the price down to a bargain £238.

Marlin Jet: A Space Age Sensation
Our Marlin® Jet captures futuristic design ideals of the ‘60s with understated details and a 38mm brushed stainless-steel case that introduces a sleek new silhouette to our iconic Marlin line. However, its most defining feature is the domed Hesalite crystal enveloping the grooved bezel bearing the Marlin name, bringing captivating depth to its retro-futuristic appearance. This unique crystal covers the entire top surface of the watch case and blends seamlessly into the flat case sides, leaving only the lugs exposed. The case sides smoothly transition to a screwed-on exhibition case back that mirrors the crystal’s domed contour, enhancing the watch’s streamlined profile and space-age aesthetics. You’ll find a concentric circle pattern in three key locations on this timepiece: beneath the dome on the inner bezel, on the crown, and on the case back. The silver-white concave dial showcases a crosshair pattern punctuated with a 24-hour format sub-dial beside the 9 o’clock marker. Completing the look, we’ve paired the Marlin Jet with a blue woven perlon strap that introduces a subtle textural element to its clean design.

Who would have thought we’d be coveting Timex watches. They really make some nice watches…

    ...and I just bought one!!!

Nice retro design, but way overpriced for a watch with a plastic crystal and 50m water resistance.

It's an automatic in an entirely new case featuring some subtle yet intricate design details like the applied indices cutting into the concave face at the minute track. The way the domed hesalite crystal encapsulates the watch is by far and away its biggest design motif. Honestly, at this price, you'd be hard pushed to find a better original design with an automatic movement. I think it's great value, especially with the discount.

Caved and bought, only 1 left so I held my rationale hostage.

Been looking at the marlins ever since I learned that Popeye Doyle wore it in the French Connection. (edited)

OOS now. Not sure when they'll next be in.

Only 50m water resistance is very poor, also at 38mm it is very small for the average man.
    alurlol's avatar
Yeah because most people buying this watch are diving more than 50m.... also 38mm is perfect, large gaudy watches are so ugly.

OOS by the time the 15% code came through.

Bugger. Pretty sure they'll be back again but could be a few weeks if last time is anything to go by
