It's a good price for what it is, but be aware that the app was pulled from the Play Store so you'll need to download an APK and enable untrusted sources just to get it to work on Android. (edited)

Do you know why it was removed?

I got this a few months ago. it is now at the back of a draw,it is complete rubbish, disconects from bluetooth frequently, steps are far from accurate .heart rate way off, notifications stopped after a month. maybe I got a bad one but I could not recommend this.I bought a cheap replacement from Amozon a few weeks ago and it is so much better.

Dont let the fact that huawei isnt on play store put you off, they make excellent stuff their se 2 ear pods are amazing too. The huawei apps are all fine and secure no issues which is a lot more than can be said about play store! The yanks banning them more to do with money and influence than anything, you dont see them banning google or apple for being dominant do you!

Forgive old man question but can you name 3 things that are more useful or easier on these than getting your phone out of your pocket?

Picked mine up from Argos on Tuesday and I'm loving it. Not had a fitness band/smartwatch since a Xiaomi Mi Band 3 a few years ago. Really easy to set up, very comfortable with a good screen and the app has a ton of features - more than I'll ever need. Strap is comfortable and is a proper buckle strap, unlike my aforementioned Mi Band. Sleep and step tracking seems very accurate too, which is the main reason I bought it, so bonus! (edited)

I got mine a while back for £20 from AliExpress. It's actually really good, and as you say, the strap is quite surprisingly very comfortable indeed. The bonus for me was the fact that compared to most other similar (and even many more expensive) devices the health tracking etc is actually rated above average! (edited)

How does this compare to fitbit inspire 3? Double the price but a nice bit thinner and probably a better app.

Go for the fitbit charge 6, solid watch and much better than this junk

Thanks, ordered from Argos, gave me an excuse to use up my £5 voucher which was about to expire.

Nice size, barely know its there. I tend to use it without any bluetooth/notifications enabled so it just tracks steps/sleep and tells me the time.

Band 9 seems to be a significant downgrade on Band 8, at least for heart tracking, which is disappointing to hear. I just watched part 1 of a very long review on the The Quantified Scientist's channel. He'd given a particularly good review to the Band 8 in his eagerly awaited review, except for sleep tracking (in the end, I bought a Band 8 for heart tracking and a Fitbit Inspire 3 for sleep tracking, I should say in a Black Friday sale! I mean, still a heck of a lot cheaper together than the cheapest (but more accurate) Apple watch that needs charging, what, every 24hrs?!).

Anyway, fairly happy with my Band 8, though a fairly large disagreement between it and the Fitbit over how many steps I've walked. Also, The Quantified Scientist noted that between the two samples of the Band 8 that he purchased, there was some disagreement between them. Still, it was pretty good review overall and he still recommends the Band 8 to friends, which is saying something.

    Hot, I say!
