I love how they've used the anti-theft spin to make this more desirable!

    - RFID blocking = Lined it with some foil (to prevent a negligible-risk crime)
    - Pickpocket proof = We didn't add any useful external compartments to save money and material
    - Concealed zips with snap hooks = Actually there are some merits to this one, but good luck when you need something in a hurry! Like when you're walking home late at night and you're being followed. You need to get into the house quickly but the keys are not in the external compartments, because there aren't any. After locating the concealed zipper you still have to fumble around with the snap hooks. When you finally get the damn thing open, you've got no idea where the keys are because you stashed them away securely in one of the various hidden internal compartments! It's a good thing the reflective elements on the outside makes you highly visible to any traffic, and your stalker..... (edited)

Easily rectified by having your keys in your pocket. Job done

This type of bag would be handy for people cramming onto busy public transport where it would be really easy for someone to slide a zip open and get their thieving mitts on its contents. But those situations haven't really been an issue for the past year!

Or you could've put a small combination lock through the zips of your old pack (which is what I do)?
This type of pack makes things harder for an opportunist but I'd rather wear a decent daypack that's comfortable and try and keep my things as secure as possible - take it off my back when I'm on the tube, cramped third world buses etc.

I bought one, and I'm happy with it: except for one pretty huge issue. The main zip doesn't have that long metal bit to 'click' into at the beginning and end of the run. ( Don't understand, just look at zip on your trousers, and at the very bottom you'll see etc etc) how did I find out? Ironically the main zipping just fell apart, and as there was no main bit at the beginning or end, it took bloody ages to reset it accurately. I've never ever seen a zip like it and examined all my other bags. I'm not saying don't buy it. But whatever you do don't overload it, the zipping will simply come apart
