Is this a suitable replacement for the Sky SR 203 please?

The Wi-Fi would certainly be an upgrade but you would still need your SR 203 as a modem to connect to Sky, I currently use Deco m5 units with SR 203 wifi turned off.

Get the X60's, not much more and much better quality

I watched a review which you can find on YT comparing all the X series Decos and it seems like they are all very similar performance, except in the wireless backhaul use case. To me seemed like it wasn't worth going higher than X20 in most scenarios.

Homeshield might be an extra subscription.

Would these be an upgrade from M9 plus?
    Tur0khan's avatar
No I have both the m9 plus and the x20. The m9 plus are far better for both speed and range

Have these and have been impressed. Bought a 3rd one yesterday for £70 as I don't need two more 😔

Send it back, buy the two and sell one.

Would I see any benefit over my Deco M5's?

Can these work with existing Deco AP's? I've got some P7 APs and need to extend them, so could I manage these with those so that they share the same AP?

    Are these POE ?

Also what's the connection like with a old stone built house??? Can it penetrate the solid stone walls?

I have 4 M5s Ethernet backhauled. I have 900mb down and up available from isp. Would I see any change

You'd see a speed boost on any Wifi 6 devices connected. Not necessarily a huge boost though. M5s are Wifi 5 so you should get a tad under 500Mb/s if close by on a good day. Wifi 6 can take you above this. I saw 750Mb/s on Wifi 6 but not really worth it for me to upgrade.
