If I used this on my work computer will this be recognised as a ugreen switch/hub
or will the computer just see the devices as if they weren't even using a hub?

I ask because our work doesn't allow anything other than the provided mouse/keyboard into my laptop. (edited)

It'll show as a USB hub of some sort, with the actual devices cascaded off that.

What's the difference between this one and the 3.2 version?

Presume it's just data transfer speed (5gbps vs 10gbps)?
    Lc_Wills's avatar
The 3.2 version uses USBC cables to connect to the devices instead of USBs and has 10Gbps.

I'm running a logitech G915 TKL wireless keyboard and a G615 wireless mouse through mine without problems.

I have this for switching a wireless headset and my camera between two PC's to allow access to different (closed off) workspace domains I have to work in.

    Works great. Recommended.

I also have this for swapping between a thunderbolt dock, which i use to connect my personal laptop / work laptop and my desktop computer. Works perfectly, I have a wireless keyboard & mouse, wireless headset, webcam, streamdeck all connected. Works a treat.
