sorted byWe have one winner from that age- the ARM CPU. And that was only originally designed to avoid paying the Yanks what they wanted for their better processors at the time. Britain could have had an Apple, or a Microsoft, or created a standard like the PC - we had the engineers and the coders and the enthusiastic users. But British biz people and the investors are the worst on the planet.
