Their gears alright if you’re buying into the hype but those rrp’s are ridiculous

Ethically made. Lifetime warranty. Clothes that actually do what they claim to do (e.g. keep you warm/dry AND look great imo). I have a Patagonia hoodie that I bought in 2017, it was the first of many Patagonia items that I now own. It's lost a little of its new-ness but aside from that there are no holes or stray threads and it's been worn arguably more than any other item of clothing I own; mountain biking, to the gym, or just dossing around the house. When it does spring a hole I'll be happy to patch it up (Patagonia will even do it for you) and probably get another 5+ years out of it.

But sure, stick to Regatta if you don't want to spend the money, see how long it lasts

quite possibly. its letting me through but its taking a minute

Patagonia has started to use recycled polyster in a lot of their products where they used to use 100% cotton. Seems like a downgrade masked as an ethical sourcing decision.

Their "original" prices look hugely inflated. Doesn't appear to actually be that much of a deal

Urgh their styles always look so dull.
I've been hovering on some of them like the 3in1 parka but just can't bring myself to do it.

What's the sizing like on the Patagonia jackets ?
    emlin's avatar
They claim to be true to size, and from reviews that seems to be true.
