I love these, they have a longer cable and the end is designed so the cable doesn't get damaged. I've heard complaints about the speeds but I've never had issues. Perfect for Logitech Dongles, Ilok, Keyboards, mice etc.

For an extra 90p (after 15% voucher) I'd rather get this ugreen one amazon.co.uk/UGR…GXZ

Shorter cable, but it has optional usb-c power input if you're running anything that needs a powered hub.

Good spot. Especially if the Ugreen can support HDD etc which need more power than the maximum this passive hub offers.

    How is this 'upgraded'?

On Amazon it looks like the same one that came out in 2019.

I prefer the Sabrent ones with clicky on/off for each port. They are always cheaper, double the reviews on Amazon and same 4.5*

I got one like that from Anker thinking the same. Hate it now. No memory, so a restart will turn the switch off. Everytime I plug something in, nothing happens and then I have to remember to reach behind the PC and click it on. I just want to throw it out of the window now.
