This is a very good price for a spotting machine.

I'm going to be that guy and say, for anyone using one of these please protect your hearing. These run at about 80dB so are about as loud as a lawnmower.

You really should wear ear protection when using these for any prolonged period of time. You can pick up a pair of ear defenders online for about £12.

Also ditch the toxic detergents these come with and use a pre spray prior to cleaning. You can get them from evergreenclean.co.uk/shop

You really only need to extract with cold/warm tap water. The whole you need detergents in the tank is nothing more than a marketing ploy.

Thanks op. Ordered. Any recommendations for alternative cleaning solution to be used?

    I use a microsplitter from evergreenclean.co.uk/shop

It's used as a prespray so you pre treat an area first, then just rinse with fresh water in the tank, no need to use any toxic detergents.

Anyone know if these are safe to use on cars with heated seats? Would the liquid damage the heating elements?
    Envx's avatar
    Envx
I own a stain removal company, I don't detail cars, but I do have to clean fine and antique fabrics. I imagine for seats with heating elements you'll want to mist the seats and then extract without the trigger down. That way you won't oversoak the seats and risk damaging the heating elements.
