    I got this deal for £199 due to the last machine leaking water into the motor, and I had forgotten to register it for the 6 year warranty. So Customer Service took a little pity. Not much, but a little.

    And you bought another? Mine died after loaning it out, probably the motor which I've replaced in my Dyson a couple of times now. I was young and foolish at the time but it always did a great job on my carpets!

    Got this for £140 refurbished from eBay for our new house, great machine and now the carpets smell lovely and look squicki clean! Also made a second hand office chair look new.

    One piece of advice, use the dry function very quickly after spraying water or it will be much harder to dry.
