Code was posted today earlier but didn't work for most so probably account specific or new customer only.

It’s Coil spring, for kids or spare rooms. Average and above size adults probably get a year max out of something like this if everyday use. Pocket Spring for your everyday bed

I bought this & had to replace it within less than 2 years.Started to sag & springs sticking out.Wouldn,t recommend at all.

I got one from IKEA for £125. It's pocket sprung and quite happy with it.

Any one have this?

Great mattress for the guest bedroom. Not for the main bed .

Sorry she said they have had a data breech and my account was one of those affected. I was going to post a thread about it.

Interesting. They have made no mention of this to me

If you want a curved TV then that is your choice m8. Don't have to have a reason (y)

Very phoned me last week and told me they've had a data breech. Our emails and passwords have been stolen :( That might explain why recently I had someone use my McDonald's account to order a meal! I had used same details etc. Fortunately I managed to get the transaction cancelled!

Pointless I agree, but also no more expensive than the 7100 flat model so no harm done

Acer 27 Inch 16:9 FHD Gaming Monitor - ZeroFrame, FreeSync, 1ms, IPS £169.99 @ Very

Absolute load of rubbish. Do your research and stop only reading things which you want to hear. Go ahead and buy a 27 inch 1080p monitor if you want go back and buy yet another one with a better resolution in the near future. Go ahead and waste your money. You're a complete fool if you think I don't understand, because I do, perfectly. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Crazy how people make statements trying to look clever when they don't understand how native resolutions work. The 4k monitor would use interpolation to stretch the image of whatever resolution you have chose to fit the 2160*3840 pixel count resulting in a lesser quality image, as someone who has used HD, 2K and 4k, watching 1080p on 4k isn't as easy as each pixel quadrupling, in theory it should work, in practice it doesn't. If you want to game at 1080p, buy a 1080p monitor, 1440p, buy a 1440p monitor, don't tell people things that would ruin their experience.

If you are doing productivity work such as video editing, excel documents, word etc, a 27inch is far more useful than a lower size monitor as obviously things will appear on the screen a little bigger and easier to read etc, but if you are gaming or watching videos go with 23inches or less as the pixels will be closer together as the pixels will be a bit smaller than on a 27inch, this means that images will look more compressed, think about it like looking at an image, the more you zoom in, the grainier it looks, gaming on a smaller screen monitor is always better as image quality looks better as they don't look as 'pixelated' as on those of higher size screens. You will notice this a lot more if you had a side by side comparison of the two, it makes a lot of difference. Also if you can get a bezeless monitor too, the screen looks even better as there are no massive black bars at the size of the monitor, the monitor in this deal I believe has quite small bezels compared to the cheaper options.

I mean depending on your priorities, it's probably not worth it going for 4k... If you want high refresh rates, you're looking at paying close to 1k or more for a 4k 144hz monitor. Never mind the fact the monitor'll probably break by the time you get the hardware to actually run 4k 144hz, lol. That's why 1440p is kind of the sweet spot at the moment. It's not too demanding on hardware(game depending), and panels that support 144hz don't cost an arm and a leg.

Crazy how people don't understand that a 4k monitor will still display lower resolutions. Future proof yourself.

We have two ring doorbells and the security cam with alarm and light, very impressed with the devices but the wifi link up with the chime pro is a bit poor tbh. The app is pretty decent though, saved us many a trip to the post office collection depot!

Can anyone recommend a pen that works with this?

Thanks. Ordered 2 from Amazon. One for me and one for the other half. Our previous laptops are quite old so they could do with renewing.

Let me know how you get on. This was my CPU passmark score. Remember, I did nothing but lower the voltage of the CPU, Cache and iGPU. That's it. I think your model might be more cooling constrained than the laptops I have experimented with but you should see boosts. Typical 8250U passmark: i7 8550U passmark:

It's a case of each individual chip is slightly different just like overclocking, so in rare cases perhaps ones will not tolerate a lower voltage. They only just hit their spec, good enough. The majority however have a fair bit of headroom. The manufacturers will not spend time tweaking each individual CPU's voltage to squeeze out another 10 percent better performance. Not when they bang out 10,000 laptops a day or whatever. They will however just sell you a model with a chip that met the higher spec instead, for more money.

Brilliant thanks that's excellent info! I'll have a mess around with it over the weekend and see what I get. Seems weird that they ship with so much headroom for lowering voltage since battery life and heat are such big considerations for laptops :/

So have got it on the wall. It wasn’t actually that hard todo at all. Note to peeps out there: the heater blows hot air about 45degrees forward. So it doesn’t go straight up and won’t affect TV set. I bought a “mantel” for 50p from Homebase (5x5x120) to go above it - but it looks out of place to be honest as the fireplace comes out more than the wood. Am going to purchase the one above this post. Thanks mate (y)

There’s also different colours and sI’ve configurations, just search Lack on the Ikea website (y)

Not sure what kind of look you are going for but we have some of these in our house. They are easy to install and sturdy especially for floating shelves. Affordable too!

Already tried and no such luck. Will have another look. I have tried to cancel the order but eBay won’t let me - emailed the seller a second time - no response - and accidentally didn’t pay by PayPal. Oops.

Ouch. If you are handy try timber on Gumtree or find a railway sleeper and cut down?
