Dominate Solitaire with this laptop.

I ordered one of these, it's coming tomorrow, regardless of all the nay sayers, I think I'll be quite pleased ..

I own this & It's a good laptop. I mainly use it at night in my bed to watch tv programmes, movies etc or if I'm not too tired, I will use it to game via Steam which I love using it for as well especially Football Manager. Off-charge it's not very good but passable. Watching tv & long movies through it, the battery lasts 2 hours tops but if you keep it on charge all the time, it's perfect. The graphics while gaming are ok but won't run games at max, not with the GFX in it, lol, like most of you mentioned. Perfect also for students who like to game and do their course work on it.

For less than £100 more you can get a vastly more capable Asus GTX 1050-powered laptop. At least that’s considered a gaming machine. This’ll be fine as an all-rounder but not if you want to play lots of games.

Any of the other very laptops look like decent deals? There's a medion erazer for £900 with the £100 off

As long as it's android any 3rd party apps work. I use show box myself. If you have a smart tv too I recommend downloading allcast from the play store. It can cast showbox straight to your smart tv with no frame tearing or anything like like that

I'm selling the S3 because I'm upgrading to the S4

Nice one !!

It's an Android device just like any other so I can't see why not. The Tab A is a budget device whereas the M3 was top of the line.

Well done Stephen. I've heard too many horror stories about the S3 so I always recommend the cheaper S2. Why are you selling the S3?

I've been looking around the forums and while the manual says 8GB is maximum but the memory controller is in the CPU and it supports up to 64GB. One guy on the forums researched it and you could find a compatible 16GB stick that should work just fine. Remember, it has only one ram slot unfortunately.

Can you upgrade the RAM or 8gb is the max? Thanks

I did get a 128gb ssd, samsung nvme with read speed up to 1.2GB and can't remember write speed but quite good. I changed it to 500GB WD Black straight away anyway :D

Did you get the 128ssd? I wondered if it was another misprint as lenovo don't seem to sell a 128.

This color is super cute. Thanks :D

Heat added, free delivery is to where I walk to buy my milk anyway....

I got some similar if not identical sized ones in plain colours this week from lidl which were 2 for £5, works out at £2.50 per box as opposed to £3 but the colours available were only white, black, and blue and lidl's stock is seasonal (i.e. they carry items which aren't produce until they sell out and often will stock something else after) and potentially store specific, but could be worth browsing if you have one nearby

click and collect isn't delivery though, that's you going to a place to collect something, i.e. the opposite of it being delivered, instead of it going to you, you go to it. Edit: after checking Very's delivery it turns out to them click and collect means delivering to a collect+ location, which could be considered a form of delivery though could also be compared to it being to a local store of another brand, in which you still have to go to collect it in store, in which case is it delivery? As ease of collection would still be dependant on how close a collect+ point is, in the same way living close to an argos store would make free click and collect there a benefit.

You can get Free delivery as well with Click and Collect

Searching Google with the MPN (81BN000HUK), other sites specify it as 8th gen so I'm guessing the 7th gen in description is a typo.

Thanks for that. I am interested as it seems a very good price for the specs but not sure if it’s 7th or 8th gen. Description says 7th and the specs indicate 8th :/

Sorely tempted by this, ideally wanted these specs in 13" (ish) screen.

You don’t have to pay anything upfront. You are opening a credit account with Very. The £529.99 will go onto your credit account with Buy Now Pay Later of 9 months. Wait until Very credit the £100 (by October) and then you will have £429.99 to pay. As long as that is paid off within 9 months from purchase it is interest free. Once you have paid you can close your credit account.

luckily i remembered a name for a case which fits this perfectly "DPP v King [2008] EWHC 447 (Admin) K was stopped by police whilst riding a 'City Mantis' electric scooter on a public road. The scooter looked like a bicycle except that it did not have any pedals or other means of manual propulsion and it was capable of speeds up to 10 miles per hour. K was charged with driving a motor vehicle whilst disqualified and with no insurance. At trial the issue arose regarding whether the scooter was a motor vehicle. K was acquitted and the case was passed to the High Court following the decision of the trial judge for definitive determination of whether a 'City Mantis' electric scooter was a motor vehicle as defined in the 1988 Act. The Appeal was allowed and the case was remitted with a direction to convict. The scooter was a motor vehicle according to section 185 of the 1988 Act."

i can understand what you are saying but seqways which are classed as a vehicle do not do the speed this is claimed to so i think you are wrong hence why i was asking "what makes you think that?"

Legally, for an electric powered toy like this to be an actual vehicle, it must exceed 15.5mph, this does 9mph, therefore 6.5mph under the limit

the specs for this are quoted as 9mph i am wondering what makes you think the speed for that class is 15.5mph?

It’s 6.5mph under the ‘actually a vehicle not a toy’ limit.
