Big difference here beside departure point is the planes, at least scheduled for October are on the filthy old Boeing 747-400's!

Maybe you know them as "jumbos jets" many of which entered service in the early 1990s are most of Virgins fleet.

Up north services from Virgin are about 20 years behind those in London, what a disgrace!

We've been in december - it's probably still closer to bristish summer time honestly - can get chilly of an evening so have some jackets / cover ups etc esp for small children
Why aren't any of deals being posted with clear indications of baggage prices? Realistically surely nobody would fly without luggage so these prices seem misleading?.. sorry just saying..

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the 747s Virgin operate from Manchester. Their age is irrelevant as they’re regularly refurbished. Amazes me how some people want to find a problem with EVERYTHING. The sites about price and deals.....

and this is an excellent price for Orlando with a premium airline.

Just stating facts .

They are not up to date, no way no how. If they were, everyone would operate old Jumbo jets.

They are refitted with the best for the price that you can actually warrant fitting in to an old plane.

The slightly more expensive flights from London are with Dreamliners and newer Airbuses.

Its hard for any of us up here to look at what Virgin is offering and not feel like we are getting the short end of the stick. Give us a plane from this decade and stick £30 on the price and we will be happy!

I’m happy paying £30 less on a perfectly fine aircraft, that’s comfortable and operated by a premium company, and I think most people are. It’s your money, off you pop to London, paying the extra to get there and then the extra for the flights. Longer travelling times for you and more money just so you can tell everyone you flew on a Dreamliner.

I don’t think this sites for you. You clearly don’t understand the concept of it.
