Managed to swap the sim to £8/ month 30gb (60gb thru volt). Rang 202 took about 25 mins, signal quality was abysmal but at least that takes full package to £45 a month including sim. Bargain.
I mentioned I had seen the £8 sim through uswitch, in case that’s helpful to anyone else.

FYI changing the sim to £8 meant you were instead tied into a 12 month deal rather than the standard 18 months for the sim aspect of it. (edited)

For the tv, broadband, phone and sim. £45 per month after cashback and credit etc is brilliant 👏.
I just hope there is something similar next year as I'm fully tied into sky until then.

They must have bought all the left stock from Argos on the LG recent deal.

Go through topcashback compare and get £206 cashback with this.

If you change the sim to £8 a month that would make the Ultimate volt package equating to about £45

Has anyone had success with cancelling the sim and still getting TCB? (edited)

Good deal. Prefer the £200 credit. I think you may be able to get cashback too (worth a try).
I would have gone for the top package but locked in with sky.

Can you cancel the O2 sim (as its a separate contract) or just reduce the tariff?
    DarrylJohn's avatar
Some people have had success doing that yeah.

How do we reduce or cancel the o2 sim?
    Casper_1's avatar
I seen on forums that ypu can call o2 directly and cancel as soon as you get it. There are two different contracts, so the 14 days cooling off period applies. Not sure the impact in the cashback if you go through quidco or tcb.
