First time deal poster so please be kind.
Been monitoring this for a while and cheapest I’ve seen (possibly been cheaper before I took an interest).

Have taken the risk of posting as it may do someone a good turn.

went for the non heatsink version direct from the WD website as theres a 6.8% cashback offer on topcashback that will hopefully track. will be under 150 with the cashback but even 159 is a killer deal. These seem to be completely sold out on amazon now though unfortunately... only 1tb left. (edited)

Is this better than Samsung 980 pro for ps5?
    MRP's avatar
Yes its faster. Both are fine though and probably wont feel faster in a PS5.
There is a Samsung 990 Pro out but too late for Black Friday deals. (edited)

Looks like Amazon are blanket cancelling all orders of this item.

Had mine cancelled at the £169.99 price, spoke to customer services as that price is still showing as available, they told me to reorder as they cannot see why it was cancelled.
    NE1L27's avatar
I’ve just reordered mine at that price and seems to be fine now.

This is a great deal for an SSD which was closer to £250 just yesterday. I went with the Adata Gammix S70 as that was the cheaper option at about £190 (2tb version) and offers faster read/write speeds however it's now £201 on Amazon. (edited)
    Rossmor40's avatar
Yeah one is 7300 mb/s and the other is 7400 mb/s so a massively huge difference there,
I think the max PS5 read speed is like over a 1000mb less a second than either of them anyway so not worth paying the extra £32 for Adata.

There is a deal for a 4TB SN850X for £320 but it's with a retailer we are not allowed to mention on HUKD or I would post more details. (edited)
    BluesFanUK's avatar
Very difficult to justify spending that much on a 4TB - and that's almost half price. Unreal how expensive they are.
  23. MRP's avatar
Great to see Western Digital deliver this Black Friday. SN850X is one of the fastest SSD.

Wish 4TB had more stock lol.But may come again on Cyber Monday. (edited)

Is it me or are these sold out at that price?
  25. Martin_Cruse-Stoddart's avatar
Oh, nice pay over 5 months option. That me sold. Really don't need it, but...
  26. JDon's avatar
Well done all on getting the misprice not jealous at all. Hahaha. I Still picked up the SN850x for £89.99 as this still a good deal.
