900 Series Chiseldrivers
a Kraftform Plus Chiseldrivers are for fastening, chiselling and loosening seized screws. The solution whenever the going gets tough!

900 series Chiseldrivers feature a Hexagonal “Pound-thru” blade designed for the heaviest duty working situations. Made from high quality bit material, the blade extends right through the handle, ensuring a full transfer of force, even when struck with a hammer. In addition an integrated impact cap and ductile tempered material inside the Kraftform handle significantly increase the service life, reduce any risk of splintering and absorb vibrations caused by hammering. Greater torque can also be transferred by attaching a ring spanner or open-end spanner to the hex bolster.

Wera's multi-component Kraftform handles fit perfectly into the hand, with hard zones that glide across the hand allowing for rapid working speeds, whilst softer gripping zones ensure greater torque transfer and extreme comfort during intensive use. Kraftform's hexagonal anti-roll feature prevents any unwanted rolling off surfaces at the workplace. Wera Black Point screwdriver tips go through a refined hardening process to ensure a long service life of the tip, provide an exact fit in the screw head and give enhanced corrosion protection.

Integrated Impact Cap
  • An integrated impact cap drastically extends the service life of the tool and allows the tool to be struck with a hammer without breakage.
Hexagonal Pound-Thru Blade
  • The hexagonal pound-thru blade extends right through the handle, ensuring a full transfer of force, even when struck with a hammer.
Multi-Component Kraftform Handle

Question from a beginner; when would you need to hammer a screwdriver?

When you're working with old, rusty, corroded stuff that is hard to budge. Hitting with a hammer can seat the screwdriver better, and help break the corrosive bond between the screw and the workpiece. For the flatheads, when you're trying to chisel stuff away, or break through things like punch out holes for grommets etc. I use these as much as my regular kraftform drivers because of being able to hit them a tap. A regular use for me, is using the Phillips head one on the screws that retain a brake disc. They are usually tough to get loose due to the heat cycles and corrosion they go through.

Ordered, thanks. Saw these on the Toolstation website the other day on clearance but out of stock everywhere. I will keep these as my "abuse" screwdrivers to save my laser tips! Can finally remove some cheap and nasty screwdrivers from my box. (edited)

No PZ.. seems a bit lacking for UK market.

I've used these for a couple years now and don't think I can think of a time ive needed a pz one, most wood applications where pz are common, the screws are handy enough removed. Maybe woodscrews that have been painted over? There is one extra hole in the holder though, so a pz2 would have been welcomed, even if used seldom. (edited)
