From a recent purchase, I also found that paying in dollars and using something like curve card gets you an even better price

Good tip, thanks. Worked out about £7 cheaper in USD vs GBP for me.

Got this one just recently for my ally, it's all legit. Can't recommend enough.

Read/write speeds don't confirm size, which is often faked

As detailed in another thread, I was sent a bum drive that runs hot AF with an expired warranty.  I'm currently in the process of negotiating with AliExpress for a return and refund as the original seller is refusing to engage with me. As others have said, make sure you choose a seller that has good feedback on here before you buy. As EndemicAlarm replied to me in said thread:

"So, yeah. Maybe yours in particular is duff. From the quickly-terminated warranty I assume this is either B-stock which had performance below warranty conditions - which may explain your experience - or they're selling overstock for cheap and washing their hands of it. Or both"

As always, ymmv and it seems others are getting a good one. Personally I'm now planning to wait for a UK based seller to drop their prices and at least I'll get a warranty with it/easy returns.

Has anyone ordered anything like this off AliExpress? Or is it another Wish.com where you never receive the real deal?

    Genuine question btw

Do these work with Series X With a Chinese CF adapter

No, only the SN530 does, but make sure it's a legit WD.

Ordered, probably arrive before the steam deck does!

From experience Steam deck delivery is 1-2 weeks from Netherlands
These cards may ship from china so 2-4 weeks

These also work great in a Surface Pro 8/9/X. Upgraded my SPX to 1Tb with no issue.

How did you open it without damaging the screen?

I do want to get this for my steam deck but worried it won't be genuine! Has anybody bought from this particular store before on AliExpress ?
    clavier3895's avatar
No guarantee it’s genuine when ordering from AliExpress, but since nothing has been reported by other people, should be fine

Will the 2Tb work or does it have to be single sided or something?
