sorted byUsually when people think their blades are blunt it’s actually just a build up / film of crud & giving them a clean using one of those “devices” prolongs their life.
It’s a bit like when you see the barber “sharpening” cut throat razors on a leather strop in western movies
The fact you can fold the lubricating strip away is handy for getting to that difficult to shave bit right under your beak. (edited)
