    Is this basically some foam rubber inside a plastic cover? No speakers, usb ports etc?

    Yea no electrics in it. We have 2 boys (9 + 7) so got a Mario and Luigi one each. They love them, the material makes them a bit squeaky but they structurally they have survived a good chunk of punishment for the last few years
