got one of these in August last year. Great phone, had no issues with overheating. It's a great phone and now have Xiaomi HyperOS with Android 14

This or the Poco F5 Pro?

I've had this phone for about 2 years now, it's been great, no overheating issues. Recently upgraded to HyperOS. Only the odd lag when opening the camera. (edited)

good for small paws as it's notably smaller than most - Hard to beat value-wise at £250.

hot take but you don't have to have small hands to prefer a smaller phone. I think this trend of every flagship phone being ~6.8" is pretty annoying; I find it uncomfortable to use with my average hands and too big for my average pockets. This phone looks perfect to me. (edited)

Great price for the snapdragon 8 gen +1. It is older but not many phones out there with this performance for this price (edited)

Personally I'd avoid any phone with Snapdragon 888 or 8 Gen 1 (with the possible exception of the Oppo Find X5, not the Pro version) they're inefficient and overheat.

8 gen 1. How is the throttling on this phone?

That chip could keep a three bedroom semi warm, avoid.

Excellent phone for the price, the snapdragon 7+ gen3 chip does beat the 8 gen1 in this and so does the dimensity 8300 ultra, were are seeing a lot of sales on xiaomi phones probably because the Pocophone F6 is due real soon and it is meant to feature Snapdragon 8s gen 3 and maybe the full 8 gen3 as the pro version.

Yep it was. Not that it was good value at the time.

Would this be better or the Poco M6 Pro?

Is this a decent upgrade from a pixel 5 without breaking the bank?

Battery was fine on mine. 4500mah is decent enough size, especially with the slightly smaller screen.

Even if you run out, the 67w charging is pretty nuts.

I brought when it first came out, was getting a bit too hot for me , which drained the battery,
Had a Poco F3 before , went back to to the poco F3 ,
