sorted byso far tried a wet shave and with shaving gel on. Impressed with both. I bought one of them £7 shavers to get my beard down when I’ve got 1-3 weeks beard and then use the s500 to take it to the skin
the original blades didn’t last more than a couple of months, which made me think it was rubbish, but I got a new set for just over £3 delivered, which is still holding up well after 4 months. I have read that they do wear after a year or so.
