This is I believe the first reduction of the new model, which comes bundled with the Yale Access Module and bridge, which provides is a much more reliable, functional and usable app and smart home integration than the original Conexis L1 app.

Edit: all colours available for same price at the Yale store.

It's worth noting that if you have a SmartThings environment (like I do) then you may be better with the L1 and the SmartThings module and save a few quid?

And the App does look like it was designed by a 5 year old (edited)

Is there any difference between the L1 and L2 both with the Yale Access?

Last i checked the only difference was that l2 is wifi and l1 is zigbee. Can be wrong.

    I know it's not Yale, but amazon.co.uk/dp/…t

The installation and the usage seems extremelly difficult based on the video, you would want to be a locksmith and IT technician to get this going

Personally I found it very easy TBH, just remove existing handle and cylinder (3 screws) and follow the very clear instructions. The holes from the existing handle lined up, no modifications of any kind required and it was clear which parts to use for the thickness of your door.

For anyone whos sick of the beeping when it rains, adding an access module stops this, I have 8 of these handles.

I agree with all the above..........Ive had the L1 since the start at to be honest i think it was misssold (thats why i think they are offering the module kit cheaper to current L1 owners) the L1 beeps for no reason whatsoever.......you try to follow the guide and listen for how many beeps its doing to diagnose the issue but its near enough impossible......The app was designed by a 5 year old (like someone else said) there have been no updates to it visually.......i Feel that Yale dont support or help in anyway with there tech (i also have a Yale alarm which i wish i never bought due to issues with it) im in 2 minds to get the module kit and give it a second chance or wait forsomething better to come along with better support

just get the module. If it doesn't work, sell the whole lot when something else comes onto the market.

For anyone wanting this. Safe.co.uk have it on their website at £289. But they also do a price match, with double the difference back.

The next best price on Amazon, Yale, Wickes or Robert Dyas is £217.50

    So....

    £289 on safe.co.uk

£217 on yale, robert Dyas, Wickes and Amzon.

Safe.co.uk offer a price match of double the difference back.

    So £289 - £143 = £146. Epic steal!!

Complete the form on the website Linked through their header banner and they reply with a discount code.

Does anyone know whether these are hackable? I.e such as keyless entry on cars… really want this but sceptical at the same time. Am I setting myself up for a break In? Appreciate the help/info in advance 🤜🏼
