Is this as good or better than tea tree oil people recommend?
I have fungal infections in my toe nail and have been prescribed antibiotics for it.
I don't really want to take antibiotics for a long time (minimum 3 months apparently) if this does the job... :/ (edited)

Topical/paint-on treatments are usually OK for mild fungal infections for small affected areas. The proven ones are the medicated ones which actually contain an active antifungal drug. The fact that your doctor has suggested 3 months of oral antifungal medication suggests a deeper seated infection or more nail surface area affected, as they don't feel that topical antifungal would work. I doubt that this non-medicated stuff would work (disclaimer: not a medical consultation of course!) (edited)

Never heard of antibiotics being prescribed for fungal toe nail infections.

Terbinafine is what you want but it is so hard on you liver.
