sorted byI was very lucky and bought an Olympic bar 100kg set back in 2018 for £170 the same set is £300 now.
I've been looking at 2nd hand weights/bar recently. the going rate seems to be £2 per kg and about £100 for a 7' olympic bar which comes to £320 so £280 for a brand new set is a very good price.
As always it's usually worth a look online (gumtree, facebook marketplace) for cheap bars and plates, but if you want a shiny new, all matching, set this is ok.
