    Big thank you to the OP for this. It might not be right for some but is perfect for what I needed. Would have been happy to pay £20 more so really happy with this.
    Arrived ahead of promised delivery (as usual with OnBuy) and it's brand new perfect stock. Must be ancient as this watch was around when Adam and Eve were wondering whether to have an apple but battery seems good and it was all sealed as a new not refurbished item.

    Received today- currently updating it. Perfect condition and everything was wrapped and sealed. Fitbit said warranty is valid from Dec 2023 to Dec 2025. Said it was probably refurbished- but the packaging etc and the fitbit has clearly not been used so dont know whats happned there. So - yeah! Pretty good for what I need anyways

    Was ready to pull the trigger on this, as want something waterproof for the pool and be able to play Deezer playlists from the watch itself without a phone for the gym (can do this with my TIcWatch Pro 3 but that's not waterproof)....

    then read that Fitbit have removed the Deezer integration and other music service or music storage on this watch last year

    looks like after spending $2b on buying Fitbit, Google are winding down the business, killing off a competitor

    I have this, the Versa 2. It’s 3 years old now and is starting to show its age - mainly wear on the strap and battery life is down to 3 days.

    I agree with your Google comments: one of the great benefits of the Versa 2 is that you can install external apps. They aren’t great but I have a few games on mine for example, fun to fiddle around with for a few minutes.

    But I’ve read that they removed 3rd party apps from the newest model the Versa 4, effectively making it worse than the Versa 2.

    Lastly I would say the FitBit app has gradually gone downhill. It used to have a really cool tiled layout with all the need to know information pretty much on one screen.

    Then they published an update to ‘add tiles’ which bizarrely actually removed the tiles and made the app into a scroll-fest - have to scroll about 4 full screens to see all the data.

    So in conclusion I’ve used FitBits for 8 years, had a Charge then a Versa 2, and in that time the service has definitely gradually got worse.

    Black one is also available at similar price. I am tempted but put off by some reviews on reliability and durability

    I had one for a while before switching to a galaxy watch. If you don't mind a relatively basic feature set then this is a decent watch for the money. Battery life is very good and it did a much better job of tracking my activity than the new one does. Screen isn't particularly hard wearing so I'd get a protector for it. Otherwise a nice watch that is probably the last of the line before fitbit/google started removing useful features.

    Looks a great buy for a very solid older model. It was a bargain when they'd dropped to £65 when I got mine 2 years ago and I'd buy again.
    OnBuy.com have about 85% 5 star reviews and I've never had any problems with them other than they say delivery is 7-10 days and then deliver in 2-3 when I'm not expecting it so not in. Having said that, I've never had to return anything so that might be another story.
    If you want a Fitbit device, are not bothered about GPS, music integration or paying with it, i.e. a basic but reliable Fitbit - this is probably a good buy for you.
