Hoping someone knowledgeable could answer a few questions about data gifting on EE. Wife is currently on EE with unlimited data. I understand she can gift 100GB maximum (and this needs to be done from the first 100GB of her usage):
Simply, I was under the impression that I could take out a really cheap 250mb contract, then get her to gift 100GB in one go at the start of the month - sorted.

- To enable data gifting, does she need to add another line on her account, or can I start a new contract myself? i.e. can anyone gift data to anyone?
- What is the maximum amount you can gift in one go?
- Do the person receiving the gift need to actually be out, or nearly out, of data to receive a gift?
