Media Device for Gym

Hi, I'm turning one of our rooms at home into a small gym and wanted a media Device to do the following (or most of the following)

Play youtube
Play spotify
Play Digital TV (inbuilt)
Play nowtv
Decent quality sound
Bluetooth
Decent size screen
Ability to cast to it from phone
Aux output to speakers



Am I just after a glorifed tablet?

    If you want a cheap solution to that, a nice, couple of years old, second hand telly with a Firestick will do the vast majority of your needs for under £200. If you’re not bothered with the faff, a smart TV will do all that from about £250 but the cheaper ones are usually built with low power processors so can be a chore to operate.

    Check the likes of Freecycle, sometime free older TVs and then get a Chromecast
