Over pronation running shoes?

Hello, could someone please recommend some decent running shoes for overpronation please? I bought the Nike Pegasus 39 and they're hurting my ankles and I'm unable to jog in them without gaining injury.

Maybe go to a specialist retailer first to see what exactly you require? They can also help with technique. One example I am aware of is Runners Need.

Hoka Arahi have been good for me. Best to try them on though as I had to go up 1.5 sizes from my usual

    Yes, this.
I didn't realise whey were a tad small when i bought my hoka clifton 8. I went up a full size when i replaced them with Clifton 9s and they fit much better.

Have a look at sportsshoes.com and you can select trainers specifically for that

Gel Kayano great but also look at pronate insoles for other shoes.

    Lillywhites we’re helpful.

I got my gait analysed, was told I run like a drunk flamingo! But yeah, over pronated very badly, was just post covid and shops had very limited supplies but I liked the feel of the Brookes Adrenaline GTS. Absolutely smashed every PB on strava from 10km down in the first 2 runs wearing them, and injured myself far less often.

I used Nike Zoom Structures for years and they were good but normally just buy whatever stability shoe I can get at a discount now (Asics GT 1000, Brooks Adrenaline etc).
