PC advice with AMD 7800xt Saphire Nitro Intel I5 12400

Hi folks

ive never owned an AMD GPU so forgive me if I’m asking noob questions.
im just wondering if the Saphire Nitro 7800XT @£510 is the best bang for ya Buck with this PC I purchased for my son earlier in the week .

Also is it too big potentially..?
would it block any of the lower Nvme slots because of its girth 👀

any advice appreciated .

currently using 2 x Acer 1080p 165Hz as he isn’t aware yet about 1440p and above between his circle of mates 🤞

Probably need to consider a few things, what games does he play, what size is the power supply in that PC. AMD won't have DLSS support or Frame Generation, is that important to you...

Yeah the PSU is key. It doesn't say on the spec sheet.

Re nvme slots. You populate them before you put the GPU on. Often the GPU covers them but that's no problem. You just have to take the GPU out if you want to change the drives. More hassle than the old SSD sata drives but they are faster so you won some you lose some.
