Project farm did a test of US non-stick pans and even the expensive carbon steel one they included wasn't anywhere near the normal teflon etc.
So I wouldn't think of it as a non-stick alternative but more of a stainless steel alternative. It's potentially less sticky than stainless steel, at the cost of needing to take care with it like your non-stick pan(s).
