Recommendations for decent garden fence paint

Are the ones from Tesco and Asda any good? There cheap like £8/£10 per tub
Since we moved to our house we haven’t painted the shed and fence and it could do with a paint now.
Any one have any recommendations which aren’t too expensive

Thanks

Do you have pic of paint on the wood?

It's normally best to stain/paint after 2/3 weeks with not much rain so the wood is dry and whatever you apply can soak in. The more moisture in the more chance it'll just cover the surface and wash off.

Our shed is painted with Duckback, think I also did it 2020 but it doesn't need doing this year at all.

I think a lot depends on the original wood.

We had a "waney lap panel" flimsy thing that lasted 10 years, but the thick scaffolding boards we also use for fencing coated with Ducksback mentioned above, look dull and lichen covered after 2/3 years. And rotting.

I think pressure treated just stops rot, but you're stuck with the colour, as soon as you coat it it's lichen central, or it flakes off.
